The Social at Savannah

The Social at Savannah, at 1 Peachtree Drive, is split into 3 buildings, each serving a different level of care: independent living, assisted living and memory care. Thrive Senior Living operates the community. The layout lets a resident start in a single neighborhood and move to another as needs change, while activities and events stay open to residents at every level.

Independent living is maintenance free and has its own dining room plus a bistro and bar for quick bites and visits with family. The Springs is the assisted living building, where apartments ring a courtyard with a gazebo that residents use as a gathering spot. Assisted living residents eat chef-prepared meals in The Springs dining room, with staff on hand to help, and receive supervision of daily activities.

Memory care is in The Arbors, which uses a small-house model. Each resident has a private apartment and shares smaller common spaces and 2 dining rooms, a design meant to feel like a familiar home for people living with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia. Residents can walk the paths in the park-like courtyard or sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch.
