Holiday Cedar Ridge serves older adults who can manage their own care and want someone else handling meals and housework. The community, at 2680 S Mebane Street in Burlington, offers independent living only, in private rental apartments. Monthly rent covers the apartment, 3 meals a day, housekeeping, laundering of linens, scheduled local transportation, building and grounds upkeep, basic utilities, and a daily schedule of events. A computer area gives residents a place to go online and check email, which helps anyone who never set up internet in the apartment. Floor plans are posted with their monthly rates, and meals are served in a shared dining room where residents get to know each other.
