Holiday Niagara Village

Independent living is the focus at Holiday Niagara Village, a rental community at 2380 Village Common Drive in the Millcreek Township area of Erie. It is meant for older adults who can manage their own personal care and would rather spend their time on friends and interests than on housework. Holiday by Atria operates the community.

A single monthly rent covers a private apartment, chef-prepared meals 3 times a day, housekeeping and linen laundering, scheduled local transportation, building and grounds maintenance, basic utilities and a calendar of events. Additional support services are optional and priced individually, so residents pay only for what they choose. Care and medication management are not part of the rent, and phone, cable or internet may be extra.

The building has been renovated, including a bright atrium and refreshed apartments. Daily programs run in the updated common spaces, and residents join as many or as few as they like. For adult children worried about a parent living alone, shared meals 3 times a day offer regular company without a rigid routine.
