StoryPoint Carrollton at Josey Ranch

2105 N. Josey Lane in Carrollton, Texas is the address for StoryPoint Carrollton at Josey Ranch, a community formerly listed as Lakeview at Josey Ranch Senior Living. StoryPoint Group operates the community, which offers independent living for adults who want to hand off home upkeep without giving up a private apartment. Carrollton sits between Dallas and Plano, with Galleria Dallas within reach for an afternoon out with visiting family.

Independent living here covers maintenance of the building and grounds, so residents are not responsible for yard work or repairs. Meals are prepared and served daily, and housekeeping and linen service are part of the arrangement. Utilities are included, with telephone and cable television offered as add-ons. An emergency response system is installed in the apartments for added security around the clock.

Daily life includes organized activities and social events, along with scheduled transportation for appointments and outings, so residents who no longer drive can still get where they need to go. Floor plans range from studio apartments to larger two and three-bedroom layouts, several with a private balcony or patio for time outdoors. Families comparing options can look at other senior living in Carrollton communities before deciding.

Anyone touring should ask what a move-in date looks like and what the monthly fee includes, since independent living plans vary by apartment size and by which services are chosen. Bringing a list of questions on a first visit, and asking to see more than one floor plan, helps compare this option against others nearby before signing anything.
